Writing genre fiction as Anna Schmidt, Jo Horne is an award-winning and critically acclaimed author. This Milwaukee author earned her Master of Arts degree in Theatre Arts. Her first attempt at screenwriting made it to the quarter finals of the Nicholl Screenwriting Competition. She has taught at the college level and is a popular presenter of hands-on workshops at writing seminars and conferences. She is currently working on a memoir about the death of her husband and her own journey into widowhood.
